European Night of Museums

Visiting museums by night? And for free? With extra entertainment? This is what the European Museum Night has been offering since its creation in 2005. This year, the event takes place on 14 November all over Europe. Parisian museums are already on deck! (programming and schedules subject to change according to curfew)

It is to the Ministry of Culture that we owe this event, a convivial and fun way to discover museums! The ones you know and the ones you've never set foot in!

If you are staying in Paris in November, take a look at the programme. From dusk until midnight, you are invited to play Cinderella through the collections and exhibitions of a large number of Parisian museums.

Right next to the Apollinaire Hotel, several institutions await you. The Zadkine museum, for example, invites you to rediscover the master's work through the night. Similarly, the museum of the Armed Forces Health Service opens its doors to you for a night visit, an opportunity to admire the historic buildings of the Val-de-Grâce Abbey in the moonlight.

At the Curie museum, with a torch in your hand, you will set off for a walk in the garden in the footsteps of the portraits of the Curie family.

Are you a music lover? Run to the Bourdelle museum to listen to a voice and harp recital. Do you prefer dancing? At the Musée du Luxembourg, the exhibition "Man Ray et la mode" is accompanied by an original creation by the collective La Ville en feu.

Would you like more? All the events are to be discovered on the website https://nuitdesmusees.culture.gouv.fr/.

In November, treat yourself to a night at the museum and finish it off at the Apollinaire Hotel!
